Hey Designers! To complete our PEOPLE Magazine mast head we need to ad the banner with the words "En ESPANOL"
The approach we will take (there are others) is to use a banner CUSTOM SHAPE and then EDIT-TRANSFORM-WARP.
For the text we will use the same approach, with this addition. Since Text starts as a vector format we need to "rasterize" the text. This changes the text for VECTOR to PIXELS (RASTER). Do this by TYPE->RASTERIZE TYPE LAYER

Hi Designers, Today we learn what is kerning and practice kerning.
Open Photoshop and open the Character panel and locate the kerning and tracking tools.
Kerning adjusts the space between individual letter forms, while tracking (letter-spacing) adjusts spacing uniformly over a range of characters. In a well-kerned font, the two-dimensional blank spaces between each pair of characters all have a visually similar area.

2) Duplicate the background layer and hide the original background layer
3) Use magnetic lasso to outline the baby, and other selection tools as needed
4) Inverse the selection
5) Delete white background
